Parent Meetings
Although the program is free to students, It is not free of the time of parents/guardians. The attendance of parents at the parent meetings are mandatory. You must attend the meeting or have some one attend to represent your child. Representative can not have a student in the program. Parent involvement is also mandatory. Once students are enrolled in the program, parents/guardian automatically become a part of our parent group known as “Parents On A Mission,” or POM. Parents are needed all the time, on various levels:
· To raise funds for programming
· To help with homework and other academic areas
· To plan and chaperon events
· To work concession at the games
· To transport students during special events
· To help maintain the grounds at the Academy/Field
· To help keep the Academy clean
· Other assistance to staff members

Parents are welcomed to visit the Academy at anytime, please check in with staff member upon your arrival. Also be sure to list the area you would like to volunteer in when filling out the form in the back of this book. It is vital to the success of the program that each parent/guardian is involved. We could not do what we do without “willing workers.”
